i tried uploading a quicktime movie and kept getting an error notice...is there anything special i need to do to get this to work? The clip was made on a mac, does it matter? let me know.

Dear On Bahamas people,

thank you for putting this site together. Although i'm not entirely sure how this is going to turn out for you, I'd like to make a couple of suggestions that may make the experience of being "On" more worthwile....and probably cost you a couple a dollars more...lol.

1. Messenger has to be priority number 1. Get all the bugs fixed pronto so people can talk directly instead of how it is now. If there's a problem with the IM, then put out a collection tin and I'm sure people will chip in...lol...well, maybe not but its a nice idea.

2. Create a hook up secction to syphon off all the people who are on here looking seriously to hook up. No sense in beating round the bush about it. Most of the guys and some of the girls here are looking for "the one" so why not give them a more direct path to it? That should clear up some space for the rest of us who are just chilling and looking to make friends in the annonymous comfort of cyberspace.

3. Promote. Promote. Promote. You gotta know that promotion and the word of mouth effect will be the life and death of this effort, so you gotta get on up out there and promote yourselves. Being on the Journal site is cool, but man come on! thats not where you're getting your only leads! Get a spot on More FM's site too and if possible, the Guardian (although their site sucks the big one) and spread it out. Your value to prospective advertisers will increase once you can show them you have a broader reach than just through the journal. Think google boys, you can do it. The more places you're available, the more people you'll get. The more people you get, the more ads you can sell and the next thing you know, you'll be quitting those day jobs and doing this thing full time and then maybe we can get some real time IM going...

Hmmmm....another Monday! Why couldn't the week just start on a solid nice day like, say, Thursday or something, where I won't have to remember all the stuff I put off til Monday...I know I got a lot of calls to make but I can't remember to who or why I'm calling...I'll put it off for Monday, next week...See! Gotta go out on the road again but I'll have you know. My entire goal at work each day, when I actually DO work, is to be done by 2:45 and home by 3...and thats when I'm not actually working from home! If so, I'm definitely done by 2 unless ESPN has a baseball game on! Technically, I'm a 9 to 5er, but since I set my own hours based on my weekly goals, 9 to 2:45er is more like it. I gotta go meet with a wannabe politician today. I can't stand his lying, no good, corrupt, womanizing, credit stealing ass....but, its a favor for my boss and I'll try not to roll my eyes out of my head when the shit starts dripping from his mouth. My goal there is simple...keep the appointment, agree to do nothing and leave with a smile knowing that I won't have to see his ass for another couple of days...lol! And when I do, I'll be sure to have a really outrageous bill/quote for him. He wants to get elected, but he's a cheap bastard so that should get rid of him...Mission accomplished! Then there's the mountain of paperwork thats getting taller and taller...I've promised to do so it will be done, even if I burn half of it! lol....other than that and Monday Night Football, I'll be busy til Tuesday...now there's a good day for ya!
