THE POVERTY-MENTALITY
Posted On 02/14/2008 21:58:14 by DaClique
From youth we are told of the many great benefits that can be derived from honest hard work, and further encouraged to become hard working members of our society.and am glad to say that this was all a load of BULLSH!T. Maybe once upon a long time ago in a place far, far away when George was king and life was a bit rough for Dick and Jane, yet Joe and Mary still found a bed for Junior. It don't matter whatever if-ever; the fact will still remain that the youths of today have a far greater opp... Read More

Words to the Wise...

Today I had the strangest conversation that began on a high note of optimistic small talk and ended with the bitter taste of disappointment. After a hearted debate it was logic that conclusively weighed the balance, and through logic I was made to understand yet not accept the cruel nature of humanity. Shallow is the life of one whose only pleasures can be bought for as much as a printed paper note. Whatever the quality and quantity of a note will only serve as a measurement for the depth to which one's dignity can quickly plummet, barely skin deep. The depth of one's flesh, metaphorically, has worn many to early graves penniless save the skin upon their back. The difference being among the wealthy has always been in finding great pleasure in the pursuit and not the prize. When one diligently... Read More

A Living Dog is better.
Posted On 02/05/2008 01:48:15 by DaClique
I would like to quote a passage of scripture I read that says, "A living dog is better than a dead lion". Reading this verse it occurred to me; anything living is better than everything dead. What was the point to which the author would have his/her reader to understand; life is better than death or, even the mighty die? After further thought upon the subject of living dogs and dead lions, I became curiously obsessed with the reality of an alternate meaning embedded within the (2) chosen parall... Read More
