Today I woke up early with all the optimism that one could have, feeling like the world is mine, and just as I was about to turn and do a power slide out of bed, my daughter came into the room and with a big smile on her pretty little face, hugged me and said “happy fathers day daddy”.

I froze for a moment, acknowledged her kind greetings and went back to bed feeling like the world was on my shoulders…
