Despite the title of this blogs I’m not endorsing cashing out and leaving on the first redeye for Vegas…off cause not. Yet the similes between a game of chance and the game of life goes so deep it almost contradicts the value and sanctity of life itself. With steal confidence one could easily transform nothing into something on the drop of a dice, and poverty into prosperity playing simple card games.
Some philosophers believed that life is in the stars, and it plays itself out through randomly selected numbers that are interpreted to signify special event. The employment of special devises came about as the need to further improve the efficiency of interpreting life. Cards, dices and potions proved more effective mediums through which one might understand ones purpose.
All for glory meant that an initiate has divested him/her self of all material links to this world and is now ready to enter a better world. Not surprisingly it is reported that “all or nothing” means that a player has given all his/her material possessions away in hope of a greater return; translation…better life. When we brake up the components of any game it all comes down to an individual choice, and choice is all about the game of life.
When we go to sleep there is no guaranty that we will awake, or that the sun will shine tomorrow, or that birds will fly in the sky. Everything in life, sorry to say, is all by chance, and by chance we live today and die tomorrow. The fact that you are reading this blogs at this time is all a matter of chance and not your original intent. In most matters of choice it would be more efficient to resolve decisions on the throw of a dice as apposed to hiring many consultants.
If at all there were another life in which one could easily loose everything and just as easily start over again that would be great. Unfortunate for humanity we are given only (1) life chip, and according to how we play the game we either extend the life of the chip or default the game and loose everything. Chance being the ultimate gift to humanity; it is with no doubt that whatever happens to us today will be of pure chance and not by intellectual intent.
The conclusion to the whole story; live your life without fear to it’s fullness because it does not matter what cards life hands you at the beginning but rather how you play the game to the end.
