What upsets me most in our economy are those employers that have made their wealth literally from the blood, sweat and tears of their employees yet they insist upon paying out peanuts. I swear, if it were legal I would line them up against a wall and shoot them like the greedy dogs they our. I know that violence is never an appropriate answer to this dilemma so I will share some of my insights upon this issue of selfish employers.
No one will ever show up on a job to work without expecting financial compensation in return; no matter how much they love to work. Every task undertaken and completed by your employee represent the level of tolerance they will endure, not for your sake but for the sake of paying their bills. What employers must understand foremost is this simple fact; no employee will work for free no matter what assignment you give them.
Just as you have entered into the business world to seek your fortune so too have every employee that is or will be hired by you. As money is the bottom line with employers; it certainly is the same with employees no matter what position or department they are stationed.
Further I would like to stress this very important point; employers should not and must not compensate their employees with a salary that even they would not receive. If $200.00 a week is not enough for an employer to maintain their existence then equally it is not enough for your employees to exist upon.
Finally; if employers can not afford to pay their employees adequately for services rendered they seriously ought to consider doing the job for themselves. Your employees are working to become themselves wealthy, and if by chance the employer becomes also wealthy in the process it was purely a coincidence and not their intent. Please keep this in mind whenever you hire your next employee.
