My husband and I attended a friend’s wedding on his birthday yesterday and man you should have seen the weather! When we got up it was snowing, by mid day it was sleeting and by afternoon there was enough wind to eternally knock you over. It was so cold that I kinda of regreted wearing what I did for beauty instead of warmth and comfort! heehe
But my friend looked radiant! There was about 180 of us packing this old community church in Castor and 200 of us later on at a reception in Barnsdale Hall Hotel…one of these old English mansions that have been turned into a luxury hotel. I had a really good time dancing the night away and didnt go to bed until 11pm. Haaha.
And when I got up this morning, there was still snow all around..a testament to the ever changing beautiful British weather. My husband and I just stayed in all afternoon with the fire on, a chilled bottle of wine and an afternoon movie called ‘Blood Diamonds’
