Are you an individual, doing the things you do because you are are compelled from within? I have had to answer this question and it has made all of the difference to me.
Often times our decisions, thoughts, friends, opinions, character, orienatations are formed by outward pressures that are more overwhelming than the ones within. This is ok if you understand what is happening. In turn, we become unhappy, confused adults unable to be productive and contribute to our society.
I understand now, that I cannot help the factors that are influencing my life, but I can control MY RESPONSE to them. Each new day and each new experience teaches us more about ourselves. I know that I am indomitable, confident, strong, humble, loving, non-judgemental,perceptive, regal,passionate, bold, independent, care-free, flexible and yet not arrogant and self-righteous. Everyday brings with it a chance to self-examine. I am who I am because of God living within me and constantly going ahead of me!
