Blog Entry: Poetry saved my life, It pulled me out of all of my strife, It made me see the light, It made me feel as if everything will be alright, It helped me when life seemed unreal, Poetry gave me a new way to deal, It gave me a new reason to carry on, With poetry I felt strong, I found a new way to release my pain, It showed me life was not lived in vain, I was lost and couldn't find my way, But with poetry I found my own way, And I saw a brand new day. Poetry lifted me up and set me free, I finally felt as if I were me, Poetry saved me!
