Blog Entry: Im just so excited I cant control msyelf. It’s a pretty standard day in England : grey skies, lots of rain, slight chill in the air, but I couldnt care a fig. In fact, Im going to make a nice hot cup of tea and watch my morning soaps when Im done writing this. The reason why Im so excited is becuase Ive been taking driving lessons lately, and my instructor told me I could book my test for the end of November today, which is what Ive just finished doing. Then I will finally be able to join an elite set of nutcrackers..i mean experienced deck keepers on the road. I will be able to hope in a car at will and just go where I want to; given the price of petrol is atrocious in this country and may hinder the lenght of my journeys…but i plan to hit the open road full heartedly and often! Its been quite a challenge trying to adjust to a manual car since I only practised using an automatic at home, but im doing fine. When that car hits 60mph and Im hitting fifth gear, I feel like i can fly and even take on James Bond!…ahhh…what a heady and delicious feeling…my ideal car would be a soft top black Jaguar that hugs the road and goes putty in my hands. One day eh…one day… So while I go digest my nerves and good fortunes, I hope you have a great day and safe driving ahead as well. And whatever you do in the future, for heavens sake mind the cyclist!…not all of us will be in dual control cars you know! heehe.. see you out there..
