Blog Entry: I am absolutely knackered! I spent all weekend scraping and priming and wiping walls just so I could get the tv room ready for painting. Then I got down on my hands and knees to prime and sand the 'skirtings' as well while my husband in charge told me what a good or not so good job i was doing. Decorating can wreck a marriage i tell you! I was never so glad to see monday approach in all my life. We've got the whole room to repaint again 'apparently one coat wasnt enough' and on top of it all, he wants us to go and see his folks this weekend, right while we are in the middle of everything! Yes, Im still screaming inside! I waited all week for a break just to go and spend it with his folks..not that theyre not lovely people mind you..its just that i would like to get the job over and done with before we start the socialising. I can barely keep my eyes open even as i write this... id best go..it's been hailing icestorms at work today and my clothes are soaked to thebone...ive got to have a cup of tea and then hit the painting again..i hate decorating....i hate it ..i hate it..i hate it...its too much like manual labour and im not use to it..okey i lie..i did lots of manual labour when i worked as a nurse for three years in accident and emergency at the princess margaret hospital...but stilll,..give me a break....when i woke up this morning i couldnt move my limbs they were so heavy and tired... i hope you hada more restful week
